Ferrari will be the featured marque at Australia’s premier automotive extravaganza for rare and exotic, historic, vintage, classic and collectable cars, Motorclassica from 10th to 15th of October.
Housed in Melbourne’s magnificent UNESCO World Heritage listed 19th century Royal Exhibition Building, Motorclassica is the largest event of its type in the southern hemisphere. The event will this year showcase an incredible line up of classic Ferraris to celebrate the marque’s 70th Anniversary.
Ferrari clients will be invited to join the Ferrari Club Australia’s ‘Road to Motorclassica’ national rally, travelling from Sydney and Adelaide to take part in this once in a lifetime event.
Ferrari will colour Melbourne red as it officially celebrates its 70th Anniversary in the city from 9-15th October.
An incredible line up of classic and modern Ferrari models from every era will be showcased to the Australian public at a series of events across the week.
The UNESCO World Heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building will be washed in red light to mark the start of the week-long celebration.
More than 100 Ferraris – old and new – from all around Australia will descend on Melbourne for the Ferrari Car Club of Australia 45th National Rally. A stunning parade of these cars will depart from the home of the Australian Grand Prix, Albert Park, on Tuesday 10th October.
Ferrari will also be the featured marque at Motorclassica, the largest event of its type in the southern hemisphere featuring rare and exotic, historic, vintage and collectible cars from 13-15th October. The exceptional Motorclassica collection of cars will represent the most important collection of Ferrari cars ever gathered in Australia.
The week-long celebration will culminate with a festive Ferrari street party along Lygon Street’s Italian precinct in Carlton on Sunday 15th October.

More than 100 Ferraris from around Australia will descend on home of the Australian Grand Prix, Albert Park, for a parade to mark the official start of the 70th Anniversary edition of the Ferrari Owners’ Club of Australia’s 45th National Rally. The record-breaking Ferrari 70th Anniversary limited edition LaFerrari Aperta will lead the 100-strong parade out of Melbourne.

Australian audiences will share firsthand the “Driven by Emotion” heritage passed on through the generations of the Ferrari marque, with an exceptional display of classic Ferraris on display for the public to enjoy. The event, held in Melbourne’s UNESCO World Heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building, will display the most significant collection of Ferraris ever gathered in Australia. From the early 195 EL, to the limited edition LaFerrari Aperta, built to celebrate Ferrari’s 70th Anniversary in 2017, the classic line up at Motorclassica also includes several of the most important Ferrari models throughout history.
Zagame Ferrari Lygon Street Festival
Ferrari’s official Australian 70th Anniversary celebrations will culminate with a festive Ferrari street party along Lygon Street’s Italian precinct between Elgin to Faraday Street in Carlton. Hosted by Zagame Ferrari, this event will feature 70 cars including the latest Ferrari range of 812 Superfast, GTC4Lusso, and 488 Spider alongside several Ferrari classics such as F40 and Daytona. The event is free and open to the public with face painting, giveaways, and a great line up of entertainment for the whole Ferraristi family to enjoy.
